Coffeyville Area Community Foundation to host MATCH DAY 2018
On Thursday, November 15th, the Coffeyville Area Community Foundation will host MATCH DAY from 7AM to 5:30PM at the Perkins Building, Downtown Coffeyville Plaza, and 24 hours online at www.givematchgrow.com . Match Day is a one day opportunity for donors to increase their giving to 21 local nonprofit organizations. The Community Foundation along with the Bernard and Effie Jo Wade Family Foundation and the Pratt Family Charitable Fund will offer $40,000 in matching money to every donation given that day!
How does it work? When you contribute to a nonprofit organization’s endowed fund, your donation will receive a match. All donations will receive a match on a percentage basis of the total gifts received. The more donations an organization receives, the more the organization will receive of the $40,000 matching funds!
Checks should be made payable to Coffeyville Area Community Foundation with a notation of the nonprofit organizations of your choice. Donations will be received between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. at the Perkins Building and 24 hours online at www.givematchgrow.com. All contributions are tax deductible. Cash is also accepted.
KGGF Radio will be hosting a live remote on Match Day throughout the morning at the Perkins Building. Nonprofit organization representatives will be on the air to share news and information about their organization’s mission and services to our community.
Stop by the Perkins Building on November 15, visit with CACF staff and directors, make your donation, see your favorite non-profit grow and give your community a big boost! $1250 in cash prizes for the nonprofit organizations will be awarded throughout the day. There will be $50 hourly drawings, cash prize drawings for the most donors during the period and prizes for the fund that has the most donors on site and online, and the organization receiving the greatest increase from the previous year.
